Beautiful in spring time with white cherry blossom in the forest andwild flowers, the site is also in an area of interest to those who like history and old buildings.
Stephan the Great
Had many battles in this area and after winning the battle he would shoot an arrow in the air and were it landed he would build a Monastery. One of them is near the camp and easy to visit, some of these beautiful building are now being restored.
Over half the camp site has been used in the past for making hay so is ideal for tents, and the sort of games young people play at camp. The rest has been left and has areas of wild flowers and a small stream and a pool which will need clearing out. What can you do to help. Maybe your churches young people could have a prayer time for the camp, hopefully some may like to join in the work of clearing the stream and pool or preparing the games area.Of course they would have to join in the bible study times and the other duties that are part of camp life.
