I traveled through many of these striken villages and talked to people during last week. My prayer is that may God use this unwanted  event for the repentance of our nation.. Reports indicate that about 20 people lost their lives, hundreds of livestock perished, many homes were either partially damaged or completely destroyed, and vast swathes of agricultural fields were inundated.

 People whose homes were left standing still lost most of their personal belongings, including furniture and winter food stocks. There is a 4 year old girl from our town. She was unable to escape from her parent s car when the flood came. The water swept her away and her body was found in the next village.
