Converted in prison through reading a bible taken in for him, Cornel’s behaviour changed so much that at the request of the governor his sixteen year sentence was reduced to seven. His burning ambition now is to reach other prisoners with the gospel. He is very welcome in the two prisons in which he served and is currently doing further bible school training so that he can get an official pass which will give him entry into every prison in Romania. Meanwhile Cornel is involved in aid distribution, village evangelism and church planting in his home region around Liteni in the Suceava region and is also developing a ministry writing to Romanians who find themselves in prison in the countries where they have gone to seek work. Cornel is a gifted poet and uses his gift to good effect communicating the Gospel.
