Cornel Haures and his wife Anna were both born in North East Romania. They have chosen to stay in this area because they believe that this is where God wants them to be.

Anna is the kindy administrator, teaches English, interprets for English speaking visitors and leads a ladies bible study group.

Cornel is the senior elder in the church at Siret and does early morning bible teaching to a group of young preachers. Six village churches adopted him as their pastor and then informed him of their decision. They call on him regularly to sort out their problems.

Cornel started the Christian kindergarten in Siret and has helped to start a Christian bookshop in Radauti.

Every  few weeks  Cornel visits  a group of  11 village churches in Moldova to do Bible teaching, and is also involved in church planting  in Ukraine.

The Haures  family have been  supported by Operation Timothy  since August  2004.
